Johnson had his run of eight straight games with 100 receiving yards snapped with five catches for 72 yards on Sunday.||||||| Johnson surpassed Jerry Rice's single-season yards receiving record of 1,848 with 1,964 this season. His eight straight games broke an NFL record set by Charley Hennigan in 1961 and matched by Michael Irvin in 1995.

Johnson surpassed Jerry Rice's single-season yards receiving record of 1,848 with his 10th catch in the fourth quarter Saturday night. That put Johnson over the 200-yard mark in the game against the Atlanta Falcons. He needed 182 to surpass the mark Rice set in 1995 with the San Francisco 49ers.||||||| Johnson had more than 100 yards receiving for an eighth straight game, breaking an NFL record set by Charley Hennigan in 1961 and matched by Michael Irvin in 1995. Johnson broke another league mark with 10 receptions in a fourth game in a row. It was Johnson's 11th game with 100 yards receiving this season, tying Irvin's NFL mark.

Johnson tied an NFL record with at least 100 receiving yards in a seventh straight game but the Detroit Lions were routed by the lowly Arizona Cardinals 38-10 on Sunday.||||||| Johnson had 10 catches for 121 yards and has 1,667 this season, leaving him 181 behind Jerry Rice's single-season receiving record set in 1995. He's the first player to top 1,600 yards in consecutive seasons.

Johnson caught 10 passes for 118 yards against Green Bay on Sunday.||||||| It snapped a four-game streak in which Johnson caught at least one touchdown pass, but Megatron has also racked up at least 100 receiving yards in each of his last six games.
