Johnson is listed as questionable for the 49ers' game against New Orleans on Sunday because of a hamstring injury.||||||| Johnson has gotten off to a quick start in his first season with San Francisco, catching 10 passes for 151 yards and a touchdown in his first three games - two starts. If he can't play, rookie receiver Josh Morgan out of Virginia Tech could get some more opportunities.

The San Francisco 49ers signed Johnson on Monday, adding another veteran pass-catcher from a division rival to new coordinator Mike Martz's offense.||||||| Johnson spent his first five NFL seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, catching 210 passes for 2,675 yards and nine touchdowns. He was the club's third receiver for much of that time behind Pro Bowl selections Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin, but could be a starter in San Francisco.

Johnson started in place of Anquon Boldin (toe) for Sunday's game against Seattle.||||||| Johnson has 38 catches for 432 yards and one touchdown in 12 games. He should improve on those numbers Sunday.

Johnson will replace Larry Fitzgerald (groin) in the Cardinals' lineup on Sunday against Cleveland.||||||| Fitzgerald insisted that he would play in the game, but the injury appears to be a problem. Johnson now has a chance to show he is capable of performing. He has 376 receiving yards on 32 catches in 11 games -- four starts.

Johnson had a career-high 87 receiving yards in Sunday's 22-9 loss to Oakland. He had a season-long 58-yard reception as one of his three catches on the day.||||||| With Larry Fitzgerald missing time with a hamstring injury, Johnson has done a good job filling in, making 11 catches for 186 yards and a touchdown in his last three games.
