Linebacker Bryan Scott says he's signed a one-year contract to remain with the Buffalo Bills, and forego the chance to become an unrestricted free agent next week. Scott first announced the signing on his Twitter account Wednesday. He confirmed it to The Associated Press by phone from his offseason home in Atlanta.||||||| Scott is a 10-year veteran, who has spent the past six seasons in Buffalo, where he's filled various roles. Scott has played linebacker and safety and been a regular on special teams.

Scott has agreed to re-sign with the Buffalo Bills a week into the NFL's free agency period.||||||| Scott is a nine-year veteran, who will return to Buffalo for a sixth season. Listed at 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds, Scott is a versatile role player, who can play both safety and linebacker. He had two interceptions, one sack and recovered a fumble for a touchdown in 16 games, including seven starts, last season.

Scott has agreed to a two-year contract to re-sign with the Buffalo Bills and avoid becoming a free agent.||||||| Scott's agent, Edward Johnson, said the agreement was reached Thursday, a day before the start of the NFL's free agency period. Scott is a seven-year NFL veteran, who proved to be a valuable role player on an injury-depleted defense last season. He started at both safety and linebacker in his third year with Buffalo.

Scott was inactive for Sunday's game against Houston as he continues to recover from a concussion.||||||| Scott has 16 tackles and an interception in three games this season. He'll have two weeks to recover as the Bills are on bye in Week 9.

Scott re-signed with the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday after filling in for injured regulars in the secondary last season.||||||| A five-year NFL veteran, Scott appeared in 15 games and started the final two for Buffalo last season, finishing with 20 tackles and one forced fumble. He signed with Buffalo prior to Week 2 after starter Ko Simpson broke his ankle. Initially limited to playing on special teams, Scott eventually gained a starting job in a secondary that finished the year with four regulars on injured reserve. Scott previously played for New Orleans and Atlanta.
