Giants WR Hakeem Nicks fractured the fifth metatarsal of his right foot during OTAs on Thursday morning, the team announced.

The Jaguars waived cornerback/kick returner Brian Witherspoon after activating fullback Brock Bolen from the practice squad.||||||| An undrafted rookie in 2008, Witherspoon averaged 23.9 yards on 76 kick returns and 11.3 yards on 24 punt returns. He returned two kickoffs for 38 yards against Miami on Sunday.
