Myers has signed with the New York Giants as a free agent.||||||| Myers spent the first four seasons of his career with the Oakland Raiders. He's played in 58 career games with 28 starts and posted his best season in 2012, when he started all 16 games and had career-high totals of 79 receptions for 806 yards and four touchdowns.

Myers will not return to Oakland's game at Denver because of a concussion.||||||| Myers caught a 6-yard pass from Charlie Frye with 5:19 left before halftime, his only reception of the game. Myers has four receptions for 19 yards in nine games this season.

The Raiders have agreed to a four-year contract with Myers.||||||| The tight end, a sixth-round pick from Iowa, is the first of Oakland's seven selections to sign a contract. The Raiders already cut ties with one of their picks, releasing defensive end Stryker Sulak last week. Myers is a blocking tight end, who was brought in to allow starting Zach Miller to spend more time as a downfield receiver.
