Sheriff's officials say Barden has been arrested in a roll-over drunken driving crash in eastern Georgia.|||||||
A Lincoln County Sheriff's report says the 23-year-old lost control of a truck carrying two other passengers on Feb. 23 and crashed into a ditch in Lincolnton - about 35 miles northwest of Augusta. The report says the truck flipped and landed on its side. Deputies say they spoke with Barden after the accident and smelled a strong odor of alcohol. Barden refused to do a sobriety test and was taken to the sheriff's office, where he again refused to take a sobriety test.
The Tennessee Titans have signed Barden from their practice squad, replacing Jared Cook who is out the rest of the season with a torn right rotator cuff.|||||||
The Titans put Cook on injured reserve after he tore his rotator cuff in last week's 27-23 loss at Indianapolis. Barden is a 6-foot-5 rookie who signed with the Titans in May after catching 107 passes for 1,234 yards in college at Vanderbilt.
