McCray is returning to New Orleans only one month after the Saints unexpectedly waived him.||||||| McCray, a six-year veteran, was with the Saints the past two seasons, playing in all 32 regular season games and started eight. He also started all three playoff games last season during the Saints' Super Bowl championship run.

McCray, a free-agent defensive end who spent the past four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, agreed to a five-year contract with the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Financial terms were not disclosed.||||||| McCray has 94 tackles, 22 sacks and seven forced fumbles in 61 regular-season games. He had a career-high 10 sacks in 2006. "Bobby is a player we identified as being able to come in and help us in the defensive line rotation," Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said.

McCray did not report for Jacksonville's mandatory minicamp Saturday, continuing his holdout.||||||| McCray, a seventh-round draft pick from Florida in 2004, is a restricted free agent who has refused to sign a one-year tender offer worth $1.85 million. McCray is skipping all team activities until he gets a long-term deal. The team can't fine him for missing camp because he is not under contract.
