The Baltimore Ravens have terminated the contract of guard Williams, who played in all four playoff games for the Super Bowl champions.||||||| The 36-year-old Williams played 13 regular-season games with Baltimore after signing as a free agent before the 2012 season. The 13-year veteran played previously for Philadelphia and Cincinnati.

The Ravens have agreed to a two-year contract with Williams.||||||| Williams fractured his right ankle against the Houston Texans last season and ended the year on injured reserve. The 35-year-old Williams could step in as a potential replacement for Pro Bowl offensive guard Ben Grubbs, who signed a $36 million deal with the New Orleans Saints.

Tests found that Williams broke his right ankle during a 20-19 loss to Houston on Sunday, leaving him out for the rest of the season.||||||| The Bengals put Williams on the injured reserve list Monday. They promoted guard Otis Hudson from the practice squad. Hudson was a fifth-round pick last year.

Williams is back practicing with the Cincinnati Bengals after completing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.||||||| The 35-year-old lineman says he worked hard during the suspension and lost 12 pounds. Coach Marvin Lewis says it's apparent that Williams used the time away for something good. The Bengals will decide later this week whether to activate Williams for a game on Sunday in Jacksonville. They have a one-week roster exemption on Williams, who can balance their run game when he's in the lineup.

Williams has been suspended for the first four games of the season because he violated the NFL's policy on performance enhancing substances.||||||| The 12-year veteran has started all 16 games each of the last four seasons. It'll be the first time since 2003 with Philadelphia that he missed four games in a season. Coach Marvin Lewis said the team was aware of the pending suspension. Williams won't be allowed to work out with the team until the fifth week of the season.
