Graham has hurt his left calf in the first quarter Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, forcing the Lions to turn to kicker Jason Hanson to pull double-duty on special teams.||||||| Graham seemed to hurt the calf on a 38-yard punt that the Titans returned 65 yards for a touchdown on a lateral from Darius Reynaud back across the field to Tommie Campbell. That TD put Tennessee ahead 10-6 with 33 seconds left.

The Detroit Lions have re-signed Graham to a one-year contract.||||||| Graham was the team's punter for the final seven games of last season, putting 10 of 28 punts inside the 20-yard line with only three touchbacks. He replaced Robert Malone, who filed in for one game for the injured Ryan Donahue, and had a kick returned for a touchdown by Chicago's Devin Hester. Graham then signed and punted the rest of the year.

The Arizona Cardinals have released Graham, the team's punter the past two seasons, and 24 others to get down to the NFL's 53-man roster limit.||||||| Graham's release means the punting chores will go to veteran Dave Zastudil (Za-stuh-DIHL). Graham is famous since he's the first Australian to play in the Super Bowl.

He's the first Australian to play in the Super Bowl.||||||| The 6-foot-5, 235-pound (1.96-meter, 107-kilo) Australian said he's learned to kick that way, end-over-end with just the right distance, since he started to walk, growing up in the heart of Australian Rules. Graham excelled at Rules, playing 12 seasons at the professional level in Melbourne - all with Geelong - before retiring in 2004. "It's a pretty brutal sport,'' he said, ``but I came out of it with my body intact."
