The Jacksonville Jaguars have waived eight players, including veteran cornerback Ashton Youboty. The team also waived receiver Chastin West, quarterback Nathan Enderle, linebacker Nate Bussey, running back DuJuan Harris, cornerback Mike Holmes, offensive tackle Dan Hoch and linebacker Donovan Richard.||||||| Youboty started five games for Jacksonville last season. He spent his first five seasons in Buffalo, where he played in 50 games.

Youboty was placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.||||||| Youboty finished with 25 tackles and an INT.

Youboty was placed on season-ending injured reserve Friday due to plantar fascitis. The third-year player served as Buffalo's nickel back this season but had missed the past three games. Youboty, the Bills' third-round pick in 2006, missed 18 games over his first two seasons.||||||| Teddy Lehman, a fourth-year linebacker who was released by Detroit this summer, has been signed to fill Youboty's roster spot. He is the fifth Bills player placed on IR. He had a sack and forced a fumble in five games, including two starts this season.

Youboty is expected to miss the Bills' game next Monday against Dallas after being injured on Sunday. Jabari Greer filled in for Youboty in the Jets game and will probably get the next start if Youboty can't play.||||||| Youboty has started the last three games since Jason Webster broke his forearm in the Bills' opening day loss to Denver. He has 12 tackles.
