Coach Chan Gailey provided the update on Monday, a day after the player was hurt in the first half of a 50-17 loss to Seattle in a game played at Toronto. Gailey did not reveal the nature of the injury or which ankle the player had hurt.
Now that Moats has settled into practicing just one position in the Buffalo Bills defense, the jack-of-all-trades player has performed so well at outside linebacker that he's challenging for a starting job. That was defensive coordinator Dave Wannstedt's view on Tuesday, when assessing his linebacker rotation in preparation for Buffalo's preseason opener against the Washington Redskins on Thursday.|||||||
