Gates finished with three catches for 43 yards and a touchdown in a win against the Chiefs Thursday night.||||||| It was only Gates' second game this season with a touchdown. He scored in six games a year ago. Gates caught a 14-yard yard scoring pass from Philip Rivers on the game's opening drive to snap a streak of six straight quarters without a touchdown.
