Brown, set to begin his third year in the league, was selected by Pittsburgh in the sixth round of the 2010 draft. He has totaled 85 receptions for 1,275 yards with two touchdowns in two seasons with the Steelers. Last year, he was second on the team with 69 receptions for 1,108 yards and and also had 1,062 return yards, becoming the first player in NFL history with 1,000 yards in both. He also earned a trip to the Pro Bowl as a kick returner.
Brown had six receptions for 90 yards as Pittsburgh hobbled into the postseason with a wind-whipped 13-9 win Sunday over Cleveland.|||||||
Brown was 15th in the NFL with 1,108 yards through the air.
In his second career start, Brown had a career-high 151 yards and scored the clinching touchdown in a 14-3 victory over Cleveland on Thursday night.|||||||
Most of Brown's yards came on that 79-yard score from Ben Roethlisberger with 2:42 remaining. He has 663 of his 925 yards over the last seven games.
