The Jaguars announced Monday that they have finalized a trade with the Packers, sending S Anthony Smith to Green Bay in exchange for an undisclosed draft pick. The Jags also signed CB Chevis Jackson.

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms with Smith, the second veteran at that spot added in five days.||||||| Smith was a third-round pick by Pittsburgh out of Syracuse in 2006, and he has played in 63 games with the Steelers, St. Louis, Jacksonville and Green Bay. The 6-foot, 200-pound Smith has seven interceptions with 19 starts. He played in 16 games with Pittsburgh in 2007 with 10 starts that season. Smith played for Jacksonville and Green Bay last season before being placed on injured reserve.

The Packers have acquired Smith in a trade with the Jaguars, a person with knowledge of the deal tells The Associated Press.||||||| The person, who requested anonymity because the deal has not been announced, said the Jaguars will receive a conditional seventh-round draft pick in exchange for Smith. The deal was reported by ESPN earlier Sunday night. The Packers are desperate for safety help after injuries to Atari Bigby and Morgan Burnett. The Packers signed Smith as a free agent in 2009 but cut him before the start of the season.
