Report: Lions sign CB Madison
The Lions added more depth to their secondary on Saturday, signing former Steelers CB Anthony Madison to a one-year deal.

Madison was among Detroit's final cuts this year. He played in 16 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season, his fifth in the NFL.
Madison has re-signed with the team, one day after being cut by the Indianapolis Colts.|||||||
Madison played for Pittsburgh from 2006-08 before being cut during training camp. He played for the Browns and Colts earlier this season.

After playing three seasons with Pittsburgh, Madison appeared in four games this year for Cleveland but did not record a tackle.
The Steelers made Madison, a restricted free agent, a qualifying offer on Thursday. If another team offers a deal to any of the restricted free agents, the Steelers get to match it or be compensated with draft choices.|||||||
Madison was mainly a special teams players for the Steelers during their run to the Super Bowl.
Madison was promoted to the Steelers' active roster, the team said Saturday, after cornerback Ricardo Colclough was placed on the injured reserve list with a neck injury. Madison, a cornerback out of Alabama, has never played in an NFL game.|||||||
