A person with knowledge of the contract says Davis and the San Francisco 49ers have agreed on a five-year extension through the 2019 season worth more than $37 million.|||||||
The person spoke on condition of anonymity to The Associated Press on Friday because the team had yet to announce the deal. The contract totals $37.295 million, with $17 million guaranteed. The 23-year-old tackle has started 16 games in each of his first three years. He helped the 49ers win consecutive NFC West titles and reach the Super Bowl last season - a 34-31 loss to Baltimore.
