Luck surpassed Cam Newton's year-old record for yards passing by a rookie when he had 123 in the first half of Sunday's game against the Chiefs.|||||||
Luck needed only 74 yards to break the Carolina quarterback's mark of 4,051 yards, and he eclipsed it while leading the Colts to a field goal that gave Indianapolis a 13-3 halftime lead.
Luck threw for 186 yards with two touchdowns in Sunday's loss to the Texans.|||||||
Luck had led the Colts to a rookie-record six wins on drives in the fourth quarter or overtime this season, and he got the Colts within six points late in the third quarter but they fell short. Luck still remains in a tight competition with RGIII for NFL rookie of the year.
Luck was 16 of 34 for 196 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in Indianapolis' win against Tennessee on Sunday.|||||||
It was the second straight game in which Luck struggled, as he's thrown five picks and five TDs over the last two weeks. Luck's passer rating of 50.6 was a season worst. Nonetheless, the Colts have won three consecutive games.
Luck went 24 of 54 for 391 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions in Sunday's win against Detroit.|||||||
He posted his lowest completion percentage of the season and struggled at times but the four TDs were a season-high, including a 14-yarder to Donnie Avery as time expired to win the game. Luck is the first rookie quarterback in the Super Bowl era to achieve eight wins.
Luck broke Peyton Manning's NFL rookie record with his fifth game of at least 300 yards passing Sunday but had two of his three interceptions returned for touchdowns in a 59-24 drubbing to New England.|||||||
Luck finshed with 334 yards and two touchdowns while going 27 for 50. He's on pace for 4,744 yards, which would shatter Cam Newton's record of 4,051 from last season.
