Goodman spent the last three season with the Broncos, starting 40 regular season games and collecting 109 tackles, a sack, seven interceptions and 35 pass breakups to go with three fumble recoveries. He also had five solo tackles in two starts in the playoffs in January.

Goodman had surgery on his left shoulder for the second time this year. Goodman's surgery was performed Friday in New York. He was injured at a team minicamp May 4.|||||||
Goodman's injury leaves Miami thin at cornerback. It's uncertain how much time he will mis. Goodman, who played 15 games last season for Miami, had arthroscopic shoulder surgery in January. The six-year NFL veteran signed a three-year contract with the Dolphins as an unrestricted free agent before the 2006 season.
