The 6-foot-2, 302-pound Fluellen has played in 56 games with six starts over five seasons with Detroit (2008-12) and Miami (2012). He appeared in five games and made six tackles with the Lions and Dolphins last season.
Fluellen has signed with the Miami Dolphins after playing the past four seasons for the Detroit Lions.|||||||
The 302-pound Fluellen, a former Florida State player, was cut by the Lions near the end of training camp. His signing with Miami was confirmed on Twitter by his agent, Jerrold Colton. He has played in 51 NFL games, mostly as a reserve. On the roster he replaces defensive lineman Ryan Baker, who was waived.
The Detroit Lions have re-signed defensive tackle Andre Fluellen to a one-year contract. The team confirmed the move Tuesday. Terms were not disclosed.|||||||
Fluellen has played in 51 games over four seasons with the Lions. Detroit drafted him in the third round of the 2008 NFL draft and he started five games combined in his first two seasons. He has played in 29 the past two years as a backup. Fluellen has 46 career tackles.
