Brown broke his leg in Sunday's 38-10 rout of the Packers.||||||| Giants coach Tom Coughlin did not say which leg after the game and the extent of the injury is not known although it seems serious. Brown is among the league leaders with eight TD runs so fantasy owners will have to look elsewhere for valuable points.

Eli Manning didn't need a big comeback Thursday night, not with Andre Brown running for a career-high 113 yards and two touchdowns in the New York Giants' 36-7 victory over the Carolina Panthers.||||||| Brown - waived by five different teams - including the Panthers - since coming into the league as a fourth-round draft pick in 2009 - got his chance Thursday night when Ahmad Bradshaw sat out with a neck injury. He had 71 yards and his first NFL TD during the Giants' comeback win over Tampa Bay on Sept. 20.

The Colts claimed Brown off waivers from Denver and have released kick returner Kenny Moore.||||||| Brown appeared in three games with Denver this season, running twice for minus-1 yard. At North Carolina State, he ran for 2,539 yards and 22 touchdowns. He could be a security blanket with Joseph Addai and Donald Brown injured.

The Denver Broncos have juggled their running back corps again, waiving Lance Ball and re-signing Brown. The moves were announced Tuesday.||||||| Brown spent the first week of the season on the Broncos' roster before being waived and signed to the team's practice squad. He had been awarded to the Broncos off waivers from the New York Giants but didn't play in the opener as he was dealing with a turf toe injury.
