The Kansas City Chiefs have re-signed defensive lineman Amon Gordon, a 30-year-old veteran who played in all 16 games last season. Terms of the deal announced Monday were not released.|||||||
Gordon, 6-foot-2 and 305 pounds, joined Kansas City in 2011 after previous stints with Tennessee, Seattle, Baltimore, Denver and Cleveland. His 57 career tackles include 20 last season - 12 of them solo - for the Chiefs. He also had two sacks and a quarterback pressure for Kansas City.

The 6-foot-2, 305-pound lineman has made four starts and played in 17 games with the Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks. Amon, a fifth-round pick of Cleveland in 2004, has made 36 career tackles and forced one fumble. The former Stanford star also has spent time on the practice squads of Denver, Baltimore and Tennessee.
The Philadelphia Eagles claimed Gordon off waivers from the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday.|||||||
The 6-2, 305-pound Gordon has 29 tackles in 13 career games over a five-year career that has included stints with the Titans, Ravens, Broncos and Browns, who drafted him out of Stanford. The Titans added him to the practice squad midway through 2008.
