According to the Arizona Republic, Branch has a fractured left hand and won't play Monday night against San Francisco.||||||| Branch, the Cardinals' backup nose tackle, will be re-evaluated Tuesday. Gabe Watson remains the starting nose tackle, and Rodney Bailey will take over as the No. 2.

The Cardinals agreed to terms Wednesday with Branch, a second-round draft pick, on a four-year contract.||||||| The defensive tackle out of Michigan was chosen No. 33 overall and is the fourth draftee signed by Arizona this year. The Cardinals report to training camp Friday in Flagstaff with the first practice set for Sunday.
