Rubin will not play against Cincinnati because of an injury.||||||| Rubin, who had started Cleveland's previous 41 games, will be replaced by rookie John Hughes. Rubin sustained a lower leg injury against New York and did not practice this week.

Cleveland has extended Rubin's contract for three seasons, locking up another core player for the future. Financial terms were not immediately available.||||||| Rubin's 82 tackles led all NFL defensive linemen last season. He was in the final year of his contract, and his new deal is through the 2014 season. The 310-pounder never stops moving on the field and his work ethic and upside convinced the Browns to invest in him for three more seasons.
