The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed defensive end Jeff Charleston to fill a roster spot that opened when Adrian Clayborn was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Clayborn is out for the season after hurting his right knee during last Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.|||||||

Clayborn is expected to contribute right away on a young defensive line that also features tackle Gerald McCoy, the No. 3 overall pick a year ago. "This guy is a productive player. He creates havoc on the football field. He helps other players around him become productive players," Dominik said.
