Guessing how certain players will fall in the draft is always a fun process, but until the NFL clubs get through the first phase of free agency there is no way in knowing what their real needs are. This year, that is especially true when it comes to quarterbacks.
Going into free agency there were four clubs drafting in the top six that had a huge need at the quarterback position: the Cleveland Browns, the New York Giants, the New York Jets and the Denver Broncos. Other clubs with a big quarterback need included the Buffalo Bills, Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings. Via trade or free agency, the Jets, Cleveland, Buffalo, Arizona, Denver and Minnesota all acquired new quarterbacks, but does that prevent them from taking a one in the first round of next month’s NFL draft?
