Ndamukong Suh may not be for everyone, but there isn't a team in the NFL that couldn't use the services of one of the game's more powerful and talented interior defenders.
And now that Suh is set to be released by the Miami Dolphins this week, an all-out bidding war could ensue for a 31-year-old five-time Pro Bowler who in eight seasons has missed just two starts, both coming back in 2011.
Let's take a look at six potential landing spots for Suh.
6. New England Patriots
We say it when plenty of big names come available for a reason: Bill Belichick loves reclaiming and re-imagining other clubs' castoffs, particularly within the same division where he's gotten an intimate look at the wholly terror Suh inflicts.
The Patriots' front seven is fully expected to undergo significant change after being routinely exposed last season. An interior pairing of Malcom Brown, the 24-year-old penetrator entering a contract year, and Suh would be electrifying.
The Patriots' 2019 compensatory formula wouldn't be affected by signing Suh, which surely would be appealing, perhaps more so than the likelihood of free-agent LT Nate Solder being the opportunity cost of bringing aboard Suh.
Would Suh, still seeking his first career postseason victory, take a discount to join a perennial Super Bowl contender?
