Greg Gabriel: 6 draft prospects who need a good showing at the NFL Scouting Combine

Whether it's the 40-yard dash or interviews, these players could use a strong week in Indianapolis

Zay Jones – WR – East Carolina: Jones had an unbelievable season with 158 catches for 1746 yards and eight touchdowns. He followed that up with a very strong week at the Senior Bowl. Some analysts have him going as high as the second round. Don’t believe it! Watching tape, the thing that stands out is Jones has poor play speed. His play speed is in the 4.65-4.70 range. If he wants to get drafted in the higher rounds, it is important for him to run in the 4.5’s. Wide receiver is a stopwatch driven position and players get drafted on how fast they are not necessarily what their production is. (AP Photo/Sean Rayford)
