The Jaguars’ defense should again be one of the league’s best, if not the best, and Smith will be a key component of it. The speedy Smith has had more than 100 tackles in each of his four seasons in the league. He had 102 combined tackles last season, despite missing two games with a concussion. Smith also had three interceptions and two fumble recoveries, one of which he returned for a touchdown. He was magnificent during Jacksonville’s playoff run, racking up 27 total tackles in victories over the Bills and Steelers.
