Bottom Line

Landon Collins is one of the top safeties in the game, but after picking off five passes and ringing up four sacks in 2016, he had two interceptions and zero sacks in 2017, and the Giants finished 26th in defensive fantasy scoring. The G-Men had only 27 sacks last season and traded away their most established pass rusher, DE Jason Pierre-Paul, in March. They also made a trade that brought in LB Alec Ogletree, but linebacker remains a trouble area, as does the CB spot opposite Janoris Jenkins. The Giants ranked 31st against the pass last year.
