He missed the 2017 season after having surgery to repair a torn meniscus, but Dixon looked good late in his 2016 rookie season, scoring a touchdown in three of the Ravens’ final four games and averaging 4.2 yards per carry during that stretch. An able pass catcher, Dixon had four games with four or more catches as a rookie, including an eight-catch game against the Patriots.
Dixon is behind Alex Collins in the pecking order for early-down work, and possibly behind Buck Allen, in the battle for passing-down snaps. While injured last season, Dixon served a six-game suspension for violating the league’s policy on PEDs.
A wild card in the Baltimore backfield, Dixon has a wide range of possible outcomes for 2018. It’s hard to see him as a potential impact player for fantasy purposes, but his well-rounded skill set gives him a few possible paths to usefulness.
