Thin air and generally good teams often make Broncos kickers a favorite of fantasy owners. McManus joined the Broncos in 2014 and has held down PK duties for the last three seasons. He struggled a bit in his rookie season of 2014, but he was money in 2015 and 2016. He connected on over 85 percent of his FG attempts in both seasons. In his career, he is 135 of 137 on extra points, including a perfect 27 of 27 in 2017.
McManus was 24 of 32 on field goals last season and just three of six from 50 yards or beyond. President of football operations/GM John Elway doesnít suffer fools, and he certainly wonít suffer an erratic kicker. McManus missed a quarter of his FG attempts last season, and he missed half of his attempts from beyond 50 yards. That wonít cut it. McManus will be on a short leash heading into the 2018 season.
Denver endured horrendous QB play in 2017. With Case Keenum behind center, the offense should improve. It canít get much worse anyway. McManus looked solid in í15 and í16. Provided he hangs on to the gig, heís worth drafting in larger leagues and is a solid streaming option in all formats.
