AJ McCarron

Quarterback • Bills

Bottom Line

The two most inept NFL teams might both reside in Ohio. The Bengals almost pulled off the fleecing of the century, getting more in a trade for McCarron (a second and a third) than the Patriots got for Jimmy Garoppolo. Of course, itís never that simple with these incompetent franchises. The league nullified the trade because the Browns forgot to file the paperwork. In the offseason, McCarron filed a grievance against Cincinnati in order to earn free-agent status. Naturally, he won, which means both the Browns and the Bengals wound up with nothing. The Bills signed McCarron to a two-year, $10-million contract. McCarron will get a chance to be the starter in Buffalo, but he will have to hold off rookie Josh Allen
