Strong Points: Speed and overall athleticism. Receiving skills -- strong hands, adjusts to the ball and large catch radius. Good open-field runner with quick feet and the ability to make the first man miss. Good vision/instincts. Willing pass protector who gets some production as a blocker. Tough and competitive.

Weak Points: A bit small and plays to his measured size. Not a top after-contact runner. Ball security.

The Way We See It: Homer, an early entry into the draft, had two fairly productive years at Miami, where he ran for more than 900 yards in 2017 and 2018. He lacks ideal size but is quick and fast with the ability to make people miss in the open field. He's not big, but Homer is a legitimate tough guy who is willing to take on bigger people and produce as a pass blocker. As a runner, he is quick to the hole, shows good pick-and-slide ability and fights for extra yards. Homer also is a reliable receiver with good hands and the ability to get open in the shorter routes. Overall, he will never be a lead back but has a chance to produce as a third- down option in a committee. A backup returner at Miami, if he shows he can do it in the NFL that would help his cause.
