Strong Points: Size. Dominated lower level of competition. Athletic for his size with good speed, change of direction and balance. Easily defeats blocks at the lower level of comp. Showed he could play against better players at the Senior Bowl.
Weak Points: Competition level. Very raw. Lacks speed or suddenness to play outside in the NFL.
The Way We See It: Cominsky was a really big fish in a small pond at Charleston, where his size, strength and athleticism dwarfed most of his foes. He has quick hands but remains very raw in his technique. He is strong enough and tough enough to jump to the NFL level and compete inside as a 5-technique. It might take a few years of development, but Cominsky could be a real find for the club that drafts him.
