Strong Points: Very durable three-year starter with experience at guard. Great size. Very good strength, power and explosiveness. Top athlete who gets out in space and adjusts on the move. Light on his feet with good balance. Makes all the line calls. Team captain. Quick hands, and keeps them inside.

Weak Points: Can get tall at times. Doesn't consistently finish. Not always quick to recognize and pick up blitzes.

The Way We See It: McCoy is one of the most athletic interior linemen in this draft. Every one of his drills at the combine were among the top at his position. Though he has mainly played center, he does have some starts at guard during his career. He shows excellent ability to snap and step and get into blocks. With his strength and power, he gets movement when he stays low. What separates him from many interior linemen is his ability in space. He gets to second level, easily adjusts on the move and can turn his hips to seal off his opponents. McCoy has the talent to come in and play right away at the NFL level. With his speed, agility and ability to play in space, some clubs may move him to guard. He has a lot of upside.
