Strong Points: Three-year starter. Has shown dominating pass rush skills. Very good athlete with speed, change of direction and body control. Great flexibility and consistently dips underneath opponents. Has some experience in pass coverage. Has played both up and down. Can catch plays from behind. Top competitive nature. Instinctive and makes plays.

Weak Points: Needs to add some bulk. Production went down in 2017 as teams game planned for him. Missed four games with an ankle injury. Was a non-factor vs. Notre Dame. Strictly an OLB in a 3-4 at the NFL level. Can have some trouble with big, athletic offensive tackles.

The Way We See It: Fourth-year senior and a three-year starter. Had a bit of a disappointing 2017 after getting 16.5 sacks in 2016. Production fell to 5.0 sacks last year as teams game planned for him and because of an ankle injury. Missed the final four games with the injury. Not the biggest guy, at 252 pounds, but he plays bigger and stronger than he measures. Able to hold his own at the point. Does a good job with contain; doesn't overpursue. Has top instincts and reacts very well. Seldom gets out of position. Experience in coverage. Will more than likely be a 3-4 OLB at the next level with a hand in the dirt on pass downs. Has the talent to start right away. Most clubs will want him to get a little bigger.
