People keep asking me why I am so down on the Jets and have been for most of the offseason.

Well, there are a lot of things that concern me with this team.

And here's another whopper of an issue: Darrelle Revis' contract. it seems that Revis' crack team of representation isn't budging and the Jets are fearing the worst in this situation.

I hate to admit it, but Revis probably would be OK if he worked this out the week before the start of the season. I don't doubt he could be ready to play in that situation. But would it be better if he was out there with his teammates? Oh yeah.

The Jets are talking big these days. Really big. But this has not been the best start to their training camp so far. Their best defender is nowhere close to reporting.

And that's only the start to their (potential) problems. Ask me about the others sometime.

Boy, I can't wait for "Hard Knocks."
