  • Notre Dame junior quarterback Jimmy Clausen, who showed toughness this fall by playing through a painful toe injury, underwent surgery to repair two torn ligaments in his right big toe. He won't be able to work out at next month's Combine, but plans on throwing for teams when healthy.
  • Texas senior defensive end Sergio Kindle's strength and athletic ability rank amongst the top prospects in this year's draft class, but his past isn't spotless. A first-round talent, his character will be scruitinized because of a DWI in 2007.
