  • The story of TCU defensive end Jerry Hughes is well-known by now: running-back-turned pass rusher who has been wreaking havoc on Mountain West Conference quarterbacks for two years now. His impact is being felt by his younger teammates, too, as Hughes has taken to a leadership role as a senior.
  • Dedication, work ethic and competitiveness have propelled Boise State senior cornerback Kyle Wilson from a lightly recruited athlete to a future pro. Speaking about Wilson, teammate Ryan Winterswyk told the Idaho Statesman, "When no one's looking, he's doing the right thing."
  • Now that Florida senior quarterback Tim Tebow has played his last collegiate game, the debate regarding his pro future can begin in earnest. One NFL personnel man thinks the QB will need more than competitiveness to have success at the next level.
