Bettors are apparently sending it in on the Texans in the wake of the Rams having to deal with the swine flu and likely having to start rookie QB Keith Null for a second straight week.
The Texans are 14-point favorites Sunday at St. Louis, which has had a tough week. The team has had to contend with the swine flu, and though all players were able to report to a walkthrough Saturday per multiple media outlets, the status of RB Steven Jackson (flu, back) may not be determined until gametime. And even if Jackson plays, the Rams could be up against it, as Null looked completely overmatched in his debut vs. Tennessee, routinely staring down receivers and throwing five interceptions.
The Texans as two-TD favorites on the road? What a season.
