There has been late word that Patriots QB Tom Brady's right ring finger might not be right.

Observers of his pregame warmups in Miami say Brady was smarting after several throws, appearing to look at his hand many times after them.

The Patriots have downplayed this whole thing. It should be noted that they worked out a quarterback, former fifth-round pick Jeff Rowe, on Friday. For what it's worth …
