Here are the key injury updates heading into the early games of Week 12:

  • Seahawks RB Julius Jones (chest) is inactive. Justin Forsett will start vs. the Rams and is a solid fantasy play.
  • Rams RB Steven Jackson (back) is active vs. the Seahawks. Be sure to have him in your lineup.
  • As expected, Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart is active vs. the Jets. Use him as you normally would. Also, WR Steve Smith (rib) is active and can used, but beware of the difficult matchup.
  • For the Falcons, RBs Michael Turner (ankle) and Jerious Norwood (hip) are both active vs. the Bucs. Turner is a risky play but can be started if you're looking for a RB. Also, this means Jason Snelling should be on your bench, as his role won't be significant.
  • Bengals RB Cedric Benson (hip) is inactive. Bernard Scott will get the start vs. the Browns and definitely is a fantasy option in this favorable matchup. Also, WR Laveranues Coles (chest) is active and can be used in larger formats.
