FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Titans' first drive consisted of three plays, on two of which offensive players slipped on the snowy ground.

The Patriots got a big punt return from Julian Edelman, who nearly killed himself slipping out of bounds after the runback. They tried to throw every play on offense, not worried about the field or the wind. The first three worked, but Tom Brady took a sack (after a delay-of-game penalty) on third-and-8, and PK Steven Gostkowski missed a 39-yarder, his second straight miss going back to the loss in Denver.

No sign of Junior Seau yet on defense for the Patriots.
