We're approaching epidemic status. The Redskins had a first-and-goal at the Lions' 9, then got it down to the 1-yard line on fourth down but couldn't get it in.

This a week after the Redskins couldn't score a touchdown in four true red-zone possessions (three field goals) against the Rams. Of course, the Rams have held the Packers three times in scoring position today, so maybe they are decent down there.

But Clinton Portis was stuffed today on fourth down, pushed back even. From there the Lions had their best drive in maybe three years, going 99 yards, capped off by a nice throw from Matthew Stafford to Bryant Johnson.

And Kevin Smith is carving up the Redskins, too. We're on official upset alert here.
