According to United Football League press releases issued today, the Florida Tuskers have agreed to terms with eight more players and the New York Sentinels have signed 16.

The most recognizable name on the Tuskers' list of signees belongs to former NFL punter Todd Sauerbrun.

Highlighting the list of newly-inked Sentinels players is WR Craphonso Thorpe. Not only does his name make you look twice, he has a decent amount of NFL experience, having made an appearance on a number of clubs' practice squads. Thorpe also had a brief stint in the Canadian Football League.

The league also announced today the hiring of Jeff Friday and Aaron Miller to oversee the UFL's strength and conditioning and athletic training programs, respectively. Both have experience in the NFL.
