The Panthers' Jonathan Stewart and Jon Beason won't be appearing on the NFL's injury list this week. Neither will the Giants' Chris Canty. What's going on here?

Stewart missed the preseason, all of it, and looked very questionable for Week One. Beason, though more promising at the same point before, still was a question mark against the Eagles. Both practiced today, and head coach John Fox said they both looked "great."

Canty feigned mock surprise when reporters asked why he wasn't on the list for the Giants, despite missing all of the postseason. "I don’t know why you'd be surprised," Canty said. "I’m preparing to play."

Of course you are, Chris, but what about your hamstring that kept you out the better part of a month? Should we not, in the name of full disclosure, at least see a "probable" next to it and your name this week?
