The United Football League announced today that it has signed 11 players to its Florida Tuskers roster, including former NFL players WR Koren Robinson and RB Tatum Bell. "Outside the NFL" reported earlier that it was rumored these signings would occur, but it has been simply that until now. Koren Robinson, who was the ninth-overall pick by the Seahawks in 2001, had his NFL career derailed by off-field issues. In 96 career games, Robinson tallied 294 catches for 4,244 yards and 16 touchdowns. Provided he plays will in the UFL, I think he has a real shot at jumping back into the NFL in time for the playoffs if he can prove the aforementioned off-field issues are behind him. Tatum Bell, who was once accused of stealing then-teammate Rudi Johnson's luggage, also has the skill to be an NFL player, but I think it would be hard for an NFL GM to bring him into a locker room considering his reputation in player circles. In 54 career games, Bell rushed for 2,773 on 569 carries with 16 touchdowns. He was a second-round pick of the Broncos in '04.
