The United Football League announced today that 17 more players have signed on to play for the New York Sentinels. Included in that 17 are former NFL players Simeon Rice and LaBrandon Toefield.

Although Rice announced that he would be playing for the Sentinels earlier this week, the league announcement makes it official that the former first-round pick will be bringing his 120 career sacks and three Pro Bowl selections to the UFL.

Toefield, on the other hand, never really made his mark in the NFL. In five seasons with the Jaguars, the former fourth-round pick carried the ball just 163 times, averaging 3.5 yards per carry, and saw his playing time diminish each season.
