How much is Brett Favre worth to the Vikings from a pointspread perspective? A half of one point, judging by the reaction of some Las Vegas sportsbooks. 

Most of the Vegas books whose line movements are tracked by VegasInsider.com have bumped the Week One Vikings-Browns line up by a half-point. The Vikings are favored by as many as four points vs. the rebuilding Browns.

Favre was solid in last season's opener, throwing for 194 yards and a pair of TDs as the Jets, three-point road favorites, defeated Miami 20-14.

The Jets were 7-9 against the spread in Favre's starts in 2008. They failed to cover in his last five starts. Most glaringly, the Jets were favored by at least a field goal in each of those final five games.
