Saw this at profootballtalk.com this morning: Broncos RB LaMont Jordan owes $20,000 in gambling debt, plus 18 percent interest accruing per year, The Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas alleges, according to the Las Vegas Sun.

Per the Sun, quoting a lawsuit filed in Clark County, (Nev.), Jordan, then with the Raiders, signed for six "check-like negotiable gaming debt instruments" on June 26-27, 2008. The Mirage alleges Jordan has yet to pay his debt.

Clark County will step in on behalf of a casino unable to collect its money. Among the people the county has filed suit against: Pacman Jones , Charles Barkley and Antoine Walker. Walker was arrested after failing to repay his debts, but Jones and Barkley settled up.
